It has finally begun. Our wallets are crying, and there’s no end in sight. That’s right, gang, it’s the holiday gaming season!
In this super-extended, S.P.E.C.I.A.L episode of Nitrobeard, the crew (plus a Dennis of some sort) talks of Little Big Planet, Fallout 3, Dead Space, Far Cry 2, Star Ocean: The First Departure, and our thoughts of some Game of the Year contenders during a year as insane as this one.
On the off-topic front, IKEA, and YouTube bears. Or something. You know it, you love it, and you’re about to listen to it, Nitrobeard is on the air!

Man, these past few weeks have been wild, haven’t they?
The boys of Nitrobeard bring you their take on Tokyo Game Show, Blizzcon 2008, the Resistance 2 beta, LittleBigPlanet’s Quran debacle, more Burnout Paradise love, the Playstation Network updates, World of Warcraft’s recent patch (Achievements!), and that’s just the start. World of Goo impressions, the Starcraft 2 Trilogy unvieling, Diablo 3 talk, and what’s on everybody’s ‘Must Buy’ list going into the holiday season.
Also, you know that explicit tag for this podcast? We earned it. You’ve been very, very warned.

Hey gang! This isn’t the real show! You’ve been fooled!
Actually, we’re catching up on things this weekend. The onslaught of new game releases is about to smash our faces in, so we’re staying comfortable for as long as possible. The calm before the storm, if you will.
Stay tuned later this week, as we’ll have a full episode covering Blizzcon (!), Tokyo Game Show (!!), Nintendo (!!!), and other acts of Nitrobeard shenanigans (!!!!). You wont want to miss it.

Nitrobeard’s here once again, giving you all the goodness you’ve come to know and love. Wes, Brian, and Tyler are back, answering the call that Nintendo’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference so triumphantly rang. We also cover the LittleBigPlanet Beta, awkward sexual tension in Nickelodeon cartoons of old, and tidbits of The Witcher, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, and the off-topic crap you’ve come to expect.
Nitro up your scraper bike, and head down to Mexico, Nitrobeard is live!

Welcome to the first official Nitrobeard podcast! Wes is joined by Tyler Ohlew and Brian Belida, and they’re throwing it down ’special style’.
Topics covered are Ratchet and Clank: Quest For Booty, Warioware: Shake It, Company of Heroes, 16-bit memories, EA and Spore’s DRM (and why people are overreacting), ITunes, George Lucas, and best of all, Tyler’s triumphs in Half Life 2.
Also, we say goodbye to Jeff Green and Shawn Elliot, two amazing gaming journalists. No, they aren’t dead, but they’ve left the press for game development, and we as freelance journalists are shedding a collective tear. In tribute, we have 1up FM’s ‘Cake vs. Pie’ legendary battle between the two titans. Good luck in the future, gentlemen. You’ll be missed. 1up won’t be the same!

Back from the dead, No Quarter Radio is live, and blasting in your ears!
Celebrating a new partnership with Oranjive.com, No Quarter Radio Episode 10 is firing on all cylinders, bringing Wes together with a kooky cast of characters, Tyler Ohlew and Jeff Sobol from Oranjive, and as a very special guest, Brian Belida, best known for his professional Parkour team, The Tribe. The team’s been featured on everything from Philips TV advertisements to G4’s American Ninja Warrior, in which they tied for top prize in the Spring 2008 competition.
Braid, Kotaku, Jeff Green’s 1up departure, old-school cartridge games, and other random topics make their way onto the crew’s tables, and they dish out the love (and sometimes, hate) with mad style, and suave fashion sense.
We’re back, baby!

Warning: If you are easily offended by the following, please switch your podcast off immediately:
Cats, Street Fighter II Turbo, brilliant Gamestop experiments, LOST theories, stories of cable men being inside of walls, more cats, Wes’s crazy No Quarter ideas, Doug’s love of all-things-joystick, Justin’s love of Lost Winds, and Peyton’s love of the tender loins of Night Elves.
Yeah, that sounds about right. It’s No Quarter Radio, and it’s as raunchy as ever! Seriously though, this one is pretty offensive, folks. You’ve been warned.

In the second segment, we discuss spoilers, theories, and inside jokes on everyone’s favorite non-linear story, LOST! Peyton divulges sneaky secrets about the characters, and a very stunning theory that will leave you pondering if you’ve been living a lie.
Also, what do Iron Man and Star Wars have in common? Tune in for a shocking revelation!

With Omar working on finals, and Justin, well, working, this episode of No Quarter Radio features the Three Musketeers (Chad, Doug, and Wes), and their crazy antics, including sexual innuendo and arguments about DC vs. Mortal Kombat.
Doug also breaks down some news on Street Fighter IV, including characters, fighting systems, and how it differs from older installments of the series. We all discuss more No Quarter website news, and go head-on with details on Rivalry, No Quarter’s newest show.
Also, Wes has some relationship troubles with a certain gear, one of a solid, metal variety.
No Quarter’s back with a vengeance! Well, 60% of No Quarter, anyway….
